Types Of Engineering Courses In IIT

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is the topmost engineering college in India. Every year lakhs of student attempts JEE mains and advance examination to get into IIT. The professors and environment of IIT is quite amazing. There are 12 types of engineering courses in IITs. Although only some of the IIT’s consists of all the 12 engineering courses.

IIT Bombay: IIT Bombay is the topmost IIT university. The JEE advance cutoff for IIT Bombay is quite high. The courses available in IIT Bombay are aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineer (CSE), electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, materials science and physics.

IIT Kharagpur: One of the talented branches of IITs is IIT Kharagpur which is in West Bengal. The courses in IIT Kharagpur are agricultural and food engineering, bio science/biotechnology, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and electrical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical and materials engineering, mining engineering, naval architecture and ocean engineering.

These are the two IITs which consists of different courses. Remaining IITs have all the common courses of above colleges such as CSE, ECE, EEE, aerospace engineering, etc. Most of the IIT aspirants try to get CSE course in Bombay, Kharagpur.
